Mr. Zall’s practice encompasses employment, general business and banking law.
In the area of employment law, Mr. Zall provides representation in varied matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage/hour, employment contracts and enforcement of non-competition agreements, practicing in our state and federal courts, as well in a variety of administrative agencies (e.g. EEOC, MCAD, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, etc.). He is frequently called upon by employers to consult on matters involving employee discipline, personnel policies, counseling and training, and is often sought out to help unravel the myriad of employment related regulations on both the state and federal levels with which employers are faced.
Mr. Zall maintains an active litigation practice, representing clients in the resolution of general business and banking disputes in our state and federal courts. In addition, he is a member of our firm’s mediation practice, providing services as a neutral to assist parties in reaching negotiated resolutions to their disputes as an alternative to litigation.
From 1981 until entering private practice in 1990, Mr. Zall was employed by Data General Corporation as a Division H.R. Manager, European Compensation/Benefits Manager and Employee Relations Counsel. He has taught Labor Relations at Framingham State College (now “FSU”), School of Graduate and Continuing Education, served on the Personnel Board of the Town of Natick and has participated as a panelist for a variety of employment-related seminars.
Mr. Zall is admitted to practice before the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and is a trained mediator, meeting the requirements of Mass. General Laws, Chapter 233, §23C.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Zall is an active member of the National Ski Patrol, and has been heavily involved in both men and women lacrosse programs, at the youth and high school levels, as a coach and official.
